When you talk about kids songs, you are delving into a whole other world, practically. There are many kids songs you may even be able to recall, just because you learned them so early in life. The most famous may be Wheels on The Bus, and many other songs involving wheels and vehicles are massively popular too, including numerous variations of Wheels on the Bus. These songs are visually appealing – kids can relate to the fun visuals and sing along to the fun melody!
Bus
Wheels on the Bus go round and round can be taught while driving. This is also a good time to talk with your child about what you see, what you’re doing and other things. Kids have a lot of questions, there’s no denying that. Whether they are two or three years old, or teenagers, they ask questions all the time.
Learning
Little children who hear songs in general learn many different things. Among them they learn rhythm, melody recognition; especially if the song is sung quite a bit at school or at home, and predictability. So, if a song is played numerous times, they should be able to, within a short time, recognize the melody. They will be able to recognize the song and be able to have a good time with friends and other places where this song is sung.
Movement
Rhymes and songs like this encourage movements. Little ones cannot sit that long in a chair yet, so doing something with their hands or bodies is important. Having them move their arms or even getting them to dance with a song is great for them. After movement, a little child is able to sit down and concentrate better if they have a break with a song, especially ones they know.

Songs are meant to be fun and teach, too. If you think about it, however, they teach quite a few things that maybe you haven’t thought about before now. They teach basics and those are good to know. Other songs may teach important things people memorize, like the names of the presidents or a catchy tune to remember a formula, or a name you need to know. If you can’t find a song for what you want to sing or memorize, make one up! It is fun to be creative and do something different. Who knows, maybe your tune will be catchy enough to be a folk song or a classic tune for children around the world.
