Have you ever observed a small child dance out loud? It can be one of the most joyful sights you can ever lay your eyes on. The smiles and giggles do not end! But isn’t that the case with everybody who dances? When you dance doesn’t it give you an inner joyful experience? Kids love to dance to a good nursery rhyme song. They will radiate pure positive vibes when they are singing out loud to a good nursery rhyme. And the tune and words will get them moving and grooving!

You are likely to have heard these nursery rhymes as a child, but you can still find them all over. They are in books at your local library and they are all over the internet as well.

The entire family can rock out to nursery rhymes! it is what you make it. Your family/friends will enjoy participating with your little ones. Nursery songs and games inspires you to interact with your child whether it be through singing together or dancing together. Your preschool will have a dance movement for you to learn and laugh with that will lighten up any dull moment or event!

There are several nursery rhyme songs that you and your preschooler can groove to. A child can make a silly dance song out of any rhyme. Just clap your hands and your favorite nursery poem becomes a nursery song!Baa Baa black sheep can very easily turn into a song, along with Mary Mary had a little lamb. Jack and Jill may even make a good rap with the right energy behind the tune.

What will you and your child get out of this dance?
When you dance with your children you will have so much fun you may want to make it into a rule in every home. You should break out a sweat and dance in your house at least once a week. You would be surprised at how it melts the stress of adulating away while getting in some cardio and bonding with your cool little person all at the same time. Maybe you and your child will put a twist and make it your own. Either way, you will be spending time together and that is the greatest gift you could give to a little one. Not to mention you will be helping them develop cognitive skills, learn rhythm and memorize words all at once! Can a classroom offer that? Not so much. Spend time moving and grooving with your little one and you will be surprised at the difference it makes in your child’s confidence level as well.
